Micro inverters are often installed near the solar panels or wind turbines to convert DC power at the point of generation. Traditional inverters are typically installed in a central location within the power system to handle the AC conversion for the entire system.

3.Efficiency:

Due to the ability to individually process the output of each solar panel or wind turbine, micro inverters generally have higher efficiency. On the other hand, traditional inverters may experience some energy loss when handling the output of the entire system.

4.Scalability:

Micro inverters are designed as modular units, allowing for easier scalability. Adding more solar panels or wind turbines only requires adding the corresponding number of micro inverters. Scaling traditional inverter systems may require more complex engineering and equipment.
